Another way to die.

I have to say pop singer Alicia Keys made the James Bond theme die. Jack White is my idol and they should have kept her out. I can see why they had a female vocal but it just did not match. I like this song and it grows on you, well because Jack brings all the goodness. All the stuff he does in this song is great but Keys is, well bad. Bad singer, and Piano. After i bought thison I-tunes I realized how great I would be if Jack did it would The Racontuers. It needs Brendon Benson, Patrick Keeler, and LJ.I still like it but if you take away all the stuff Keys does it would be better. Hopefully White will redo this song. He has all the rights he wants. He wrote it and produced it. Whatever. Jack White is a legend and this song just shows that he can handel almost every thing with his guitar. So I leave you now with the link to the music video.

CANADA!

All right I have been home from Canada and now I am finally doing this post. I will try to post the pictures on soon!

In the morning we had to wake up a 4:oo A.M. and drive to the airport. We took a six hour flight to Seattle and got a car and grossed the border to Canada then got on the ferry to Vancouver Island and were to tired to set the tent so we just set some sleeping bags on the ground. The next day we drove more, got some food and camped near a harbor. That night we watched some dolphins jumping around not to far away from the dock and one jumped u and hit a bout. The next day we packed the kayak and took off. We paddled around and watched some Orcas pass us. We found a nice campsite and set up a tend and thought we would stay there for a couple days. We saw orcas at leat four times a day.
OK I was there for three weeks so I will just say the exiting stuff.

The next day set off around 1:00. We saw orcas swimming around then they left. Dad and I to wait a while because we know that do not follow the orcas and if you wait another pod might come and they will do even more. We saw some heading are way. When I are kayaking and you see some coming toward you you have to stop paddling. They came right up to us.I could have reached out and touched them. And for those who have never seen one their blows are wicked loud. There was a newborn calf we named Finn (after my little sister). All this one want to do was play. It would jump around and try to bug the older calf bay going under it and poking it a wrestling it. Bye the time they were gone it was pouring rain and he headed back and changed into dry close, had some dinner then rousted marshmellows over a fire.
told me about how their was a observatoin point on a cliff were people sat there most of the summer and studied them. We left the and out of no were came some orcas. They swam by except for two of them and they sat there. They were farting and making E.T. like noises. Then they started swimming again. We paddled a little more and then it started raining. Some orcas past us again and one even stuck some of it's head out of the water and made a call. We got to the beach and hiked up a little path. By the time we got there the people were gone. We sat there for a while then paddled back.
Then next day we left a little earlier and passed some more orcas and finally got there when they were there. We talked to them for a while. an hour later we left. On are way there we saw some orcas just sitting there swimming around rest and making calls. One swam fifty feet away from us and stuck its head out and made a call. Some of them we spyhopping and the little calf was pushing the older one and breaching a few times. One time it was thirty feet away from us and it jumped up and made a little "
rrraaaaaaa' sound. They just sat there so peiceful when a cruise bout had to come and ruin there fun.

Then next day we decided to find a new campsite. We found one that had a small beached and you climmed a small rock wall to get to are tent. Dad and I put one some wet suits and swam a little.
at that campsite we saw lots of Dall porpoises swiming around. you see them take a few breaths a couple time then there are gone.

The next day I started it feel like crap. I felt a little sick and just wanted to rest. My dad said.
"Bad place to get sick" But think would you rather be sick lying in your bed or be there with looking at the mountians and the sunset and the orcas swimming by.
On the second to last night we were sitting one the beach and we herd some blows. We walked over and saw three calfs sitting there then they started spyhopping. All three of them sticking there heads out of the water calling a blowing for a couple minutes then a bout had to come and they swam away. The next night we dicided to do a final kayak then leave and see a docter. On are way back we could here the orcas but not see them. Then a huge female came a couple feet away from are boat. Then blew again next to us. The next morning we packed up and left. We wound one and they said I had strep and they gave me pills. But that did not work. We got back into the states and went to another one and it turns out I really had nomonya. They gave me new pills. Then Dad said he wanted to stay at a hotel so we could get to the plane faster. Even though I felt like crap I still wanted to camp. Dad also told me the greatest (Other then Jack White) guitarist of all time "Jimi Hendrix"'s grave was not to far from here and no matter what I really wanted to go. When we got there and stepped inside it was as though you could here his music ringing around. His parents, sister, and grandmother we also buried there. knowing he was right there under me was amazing. The next day we got on the plane and flew back home. Now I am in school I am sitting there in the middle of class thinking. I want to go back.

Here are some of the pictures we got from the trip. Are good camera somehow fell out of the pack before we left and we had a really bad camera which I want to crush. So after a while we gave up on it. The Oras my look far away in the picture but real they were really close.

Gamma

My life would has been very different if it was not for one person. I would be terrible at reading, I would not have this blog, I would always be sad. That person is my Grandmother. Seventeen years ago when my Mom first started going out with my Dad and she got a call saying she had a heart attack and that she may die. But she lived. She lived through more then seven heart attacks and many other sicknesses. She lived to see all her Nine Grandchildren and most of them grow up. When my oldest cousin Lee first met her he called her "Gamma" and my Grandfather who died when I was little and never got to meet Finn (My little sister) called him "Fuv Fuva". And that has been going on since then and he still called her Gamma and so did I. For years she has been my favorite person in the world. If ever anyone of use were sad we would call her and she would give us advise. When we found out I had a trouble reading she helped a lot. She used to be teacher and she toughed me some stuff and I never remember her never yelling at me. She also like me had a interest in Whales and toughed me lots of facts and sometimes I would call her for her to tell me some. When we found the school that would help me with my reading, we also found out it was a lot of money. She said she would pay for it. She also paid for most of my trips and camps. She paid for four years at the school. For many of those years she had got sick many times and we thought it was going to be over. My favorite memories of her is when I was a little baby and she and my grandfather watched me I remember watching 'The Land Before Time' and I pooped my pants and they did not realize and when my parents came back with giant Thomas the Tank Engine (I was his 1# fan) puzzle and running around with it giving them a big surprise. I also remember her showing me all the animals she could make with clay. She would make a Hippo turn into a turtle in less then a minute while I sat there eating and staring in amazement, and when the phone would ring I would run into the other room and talk in that phone and make every one mad but still laugh. Also when I was young they gave me a stuffed animal cow with wings and while my Grandfather was reading the paper I through it at him and I remember the sound it made when it hit the paper and when he yelled "HAY!" and Gamma saying "John he is just a baby". And when it was Christmas there was a model train in the lobby that would go around a table and I would just sit their and watch it go around and around and mostly it would fall. Many times I tried to pick it up. One of the greatest things she ever did was every time I went up she would hand me a 'Time' or a 'National Geographic' Magazine for me to read and she always saved the ones with Whales in them, and one stupid kid made fun of me for liking whales she said "When a Whale Gets picked it just bounces off it and the person leaves it alone" that line has helped me for years. I was really thankful when she found out the author of the bestselling book 'Beluga Days' parents lived there and I got to meet her and she signed my copy of the book and we had a two hour talk about Whales. She also told me to never give up. Two years ago a day after Thanksgiving she came over my aunts house. She had a stroke. I remember sitting in the kitchen with my cousin eating when my uncle an in yelling "call the police!". I ran into the living room and everyone was trying to help her. My Aunt said "Do you need an Ambulance?" and her replay was "Hell No". My Aunt still called and my cousin and I had to sit in a TV room and watch reruns of the 70's show 'Saved by the Bell' which my cousin is a big fan of. she lasted two more years. She had seen all her kids get married and all her grandchildren and help them out. Yesterday she made the busdriver and all the people at the front desk laugh at a funny joke and went up to her room and sat on the chair and turned on the TV and left the way she always wanted. By herself at her home. A little after that I was biking up my driveway. That whole day I had the song 'Many Shades of Black' which is a song by the Raconteurs about something bad happening. I put my bike in the shed. I was running into my house and right before I stepped in I heard my mom saying to Finn what had just happened. I thought I misheard he saying something else and I stood there for a moment and walked in. My mom almost in tear said "Gamma Died" sat down at the table and remember the last time I went to see her. It was two weeks ago and her face was all red and wrinkly and you could see the veins in her arms. I new then after seventeen years of taking nine pills a day the time was soon. Then looked a my watch. I looked were you put the little piece of mettle through the hole to keep it on. I always put it on the second but I just noticed it was on the third. Maybe it was a sign. I sign of stepping up maybe. We went up yesterday and my mom and her sisters tried to find a good place for the funeral. I will miss Gamma a lot but after these years I am ready to step up.

Camp Suck

The Jonas Brothers. Not only are they the latest rock band, but the latest band to destroy rock forever. When they came out with their CD ‘Jonas Brothers’ lots of people thought they were going to win ‘Best Rock Band Of The Year’. Well no, they did not the Raconteurs won it. The Raconteurs not only one ‘Best Rock Band Of The Year’ they one ‘Best Rock Band Of The Dedicate’ and you can tell that by their hit song ‘Steady as She Goes’. The Jonas Brothers are three brothers (Nick, Joe, and Kevin) with big Egos. All of them play guitar (Do they really?). They dress a little like the Raconteurs in brown suits and ties (if they are copying Jack White I will kick their @$$). In 2007 they guest stared in the Disney hit show “Hannah Montana”. Just like Hannah Montana they think they are rock stars, and since then they are Disney property. It really pisses me off how rock is being misused now. The Brothers do all this stuff and think they are Rock stars. Rock bands do not use computers! And that pain in the a@#$ Hannah Montana, thinking she is all that an making real rack fade away with every swish of her wig and shake in the hips and every computer that tries to make her sound good. Watcher her whine at her Dad every episode or having that bratty smile while she runs around pretending to sing at her concerts sing that she is a rock stair makes me want to throw up. It is embarrassing to say this but I used to think she was good and a role model to my sister, every one is right when they say she is the next Brittany Spears and she is not that far from that to after all those pictures she got and her tattoo. Now I never want to see her face again. Back to the Bros. After seeing clips and hearing some of the new Disney movie ‘Camp Rock’ or what I like to call it ‘Camp Suck’. It is about a girl who goes to a camp that they say is only for people who only rock. And it has the Jonas Brothers. It has not rock at all. There are only three guitars and the rest of the people are pop singers. Since this movie most people think that is what rock is. Well it is not. That is pop. Hannah Montana and The Jonas brothers and the worst High School Musical are not rock at all. I cannot even call them music. Looks like Disney destroyed one type of music like they have been to many other things. But how knows. A band might come up and bring back rock and kick Disney in the spot forever. If Walt was here to see what has happened he would probably kick them in the spot to. Well I guess all new rock music is pop know (With the exception ‘The Raconteurs’). And what ever you do, do not listen to ‘Camp Suck’, Hannah Montana, and MSM,

My New Middle school part 2

Thursday was my last day of school. It seemed like the school year would never end because on Friday I went back for a graduating Ceremony for all the kids that are leaving. Sen was there and another kid that was in my grade. We had to dress up all fancy. If you know me you know I hate fancy stuff. We sat in a tent for about three hours. My language teacher gave a speech about me. After the Ceremony my teacher gave me a bag thing I will always remember.

1. The 'High School Musical' Pencils
If you are wondering the answer is 'no' I hate HSM but there is a funny story to it. I was one of the many kids to forget to bring pencils to class. So my teacher bought HSM pencils. Since many kids (Like me) will not even touch anything HSM and having to use the pencils for the whole class we would remember more. I would always joke around with them and act like a Jack Efron (Biggest jerk) fan and scream and say "Zac Efron LOL!" or "OMG it is Zac Efron he can sing so good With Computers!

2. The Silly Putty
One day I snuck in my sister's silly putty. In class I forgot I had it in my hand and leaned on my hand and got it all over my hair. I spent to whole day trying to get it out.

After I got a picture with most of my teachers and a video of my teacher giving my speech which I will post on soon.
Check up soon,

My new Middle School

In the 2nd grade I found out I had dyslexia. Dyslexia is a reading and writing problem. Well not a problem many famous people have it like Tom Cruse, Orlando Bloom, and Albert Einstein. When people think of Einstein they think of the one of the smartest people ever. Many people think it is a retartnes. But you use no pills and there is just one part of your brain that does not work right. With most dyslexics they have more strength in one part of the brain then other people. Most of the greatest humans ever have dyslexia. Everyone in my class was reading but me. In that year the students learn about Whales. I thought it was going to be stupid and just a lot of righting and reading. Then I became crazy for whales. I was only thinking "Whales whales whales". I did an Orca project and I remember going on there Internet for pictures but I would always get mad because I could not read what the picture was about and it made me want to learn to read more. But I loved to try to right stories. My family found out about a school that would help me. I started the year there not even reading a phrase and by the end of the year I read the whole Magic Tree House books and the first Harry Potter. I remember I loved reading Magic Tree House. I would read one every day. I loved walking into a room with a big stack of the books and showing people how much I read. I was supposed to go there for two years. The first year was the best. By the 5th grade it was very popular and loaded with spoiled Rich Kids. I went to 5th grade for more math help. They said it would be best it I went to the sixth grade then left. What once was a great school became a spoiled rich kid school. They changed all the leaning stuff and most kids are not learning. Thank god I only have 3 days left.
Last Friday I shadowed my friend who was my first friend at the school and he lives in my town. Every thing seems better there and it is not all about making money and being spoiled. Lots of the kids there are can not wait for me to come and Liam is going there. I think I am ready for this move And I think it is for the best,

I missed the Racontuers!!!!!!! Part 2

Two nights ago I was so close to going to that Racontuers concert. My sisters best friend's Dad had two extra tickets in the third row and he asked all his buddy's and he was about to call me because he new I was a HUGE Jack White fan but he thought it was a school night and it ended at 11:00. I go to sleep at 11:30 every night. I do not think he new that. Well when I become a famous Guitarist I might play with him. Hopefully,

Here is a picture of the Racontuers at a concert (Not the one in boston) In the backround is the capital. My Cousin works there and I was there a few weeks ago.

I missed the Racontuers!!!!!!!

I always look on the Racontuers (Jack Whites other band) website incase they come around were I live. This one week I forgot the look and last night they had a concert in Boston! That is 10 miles away from my house. In the paper it said it was one they best concerts they have ever done. My Dad is also a huge Jack White fan and he was also mad that we missed him and even if they were 100 bucks we still would have done. It was strange because I listened to there whole 2nd album and I had a feeling I was missing out on something. Well I should be more care full and make their website my homepage and if they had such a good time maybe they will come back? Hopefully,

The Greenhornes

As mots of you know I am a big Jack White (White Stripes, Raconteurs) fan. I bought there second album and I found out the Bass play (Jack Lorence) and the drummer (Patrick Keeler my new favorite Drummer) are also in another band called the The Greenhornes. They are not as popular as The Raconteurs but they are great. I do not know is they have an album yet it is not on I-tunes. Here is the music video for their most popular song (It got on the 'Distroy all Humans' video game sound track) called 'Pattern Skies'

The Concert

Today me and Liam (Simpsonsliam.blogspot.com) went to a rock concert. It was a tribute to the band 'The Who'. Me and Liam are becoming guitar freaks (I have thought him two songs) and we are both starting bands. It started out with a guy (Below) playing his guitar and later after the concert we met him and he said" Even if you are never that popular you always got to rock and roll". The Guitarist in the band was incredible. It was funny because he looked like the youngest out of all them. The band was around in there forty's - thirty's and he looked around twenty (He had better make-up then Green Day!). There was lots of funny stuff happening. In front of us there was a old granny bobbing her head to the music (Good thing it was rock because we were laughing so hard) and the singer was flipping the middle finger. First one song had a swear but instead he held up the middle finger. Secondly while singing he flipped some random guy off (It was not me!) and the third he made it so he could hold the mic. and flip off the drummer. I do not know why he wanted to flip him off, he was great. And in the classic song 'who are you' instead of saying "who the h**l are you" he said "who the f***k are you". But other then that it was great and like I said the guitar was great.

Jack White is the man!

I found this funny video on youtube of my top guitarist Jack White. He inspired to start playing guitar. He is in 17th place for the top 100 best guitarist. He is most famous for being in the band 'The White Stripes'. White was also started another band with a bunch of friends called The Roconteurs (Or the Saboteurs in Australia) and is the new 'Rolling Stones' IMAX movie featuring in the song 'Loving Cup' and played Elvis Presley in the new movie 'Walk Hard'. so check that out

The weirdest thing happened today.

The weirdest thing happened today. I walked into a pizza store to get some. There was a group of kids hanging out when one of them pointed at me and said "hey, ummm" in a way like he know me and turned to his friends and said "I have seen that kid on the Internet" They were staring at me in amazement until I left. Well I guess I half to get used to it.

Stuntditch!

A couple mounths ago my Dad was doing a kayaking race in New York City. I went with him and I waited at the finish start/finish line and the band Stuntditch was playing there. They came when I finished the Harry Potter series (SO SO GOOD). Then my family was still planning for my guitar lessons. They were selling there first album there and I walked up to them. I forget what I said and there lead singer D'gauro said I could have the album for free. I told them I was going to learn to play guitar and they said it is like a never ending video game. I synced it onto my I-pod. They are so good. Even if you are not a big rock fan you will love there music. I will try to put some on here so you can listen and there album 'Texon Grin' is on I-tunes. So put away the Rap and make room for STUNTDITCH!

Guitar

I just had my 3rd guitar lesson. So far I LOVE IT! My teacher is so cool. I have been working on "Smoke On The Water" which I am practicing alot on In a few weeks my teacher says that I will start "Seven Natoin Army" and "Were Going To Be Friends" (One of my favorite songs ever!) by The White Stripes. We worked on the "Jaws" theme today. It sounds wicked hard but it is pretty easy. My teacher is going to be playing at his High school this weekend with his band and I am going so I will take pics. If you are thinking of playing Guitar do it! It is so fun. The pics will be on bye Sunday so be sure to check it out.
